Bodies aren’t my strong suit, so this was some good practice. I know Sandor looks like a giant compared to her, but that’s kind of the point, right??
This one I definitely sketched in pencil first. My workspace is covered with a thin layer of eraser rubbings. Colored in with Photoshop and added a cool comic book-looking filter to bring out some of the finer details (i.e.: Sandor’s chesthair, LOL).
Aha – there have been a few people interested, and in that case I present the original uncut version. I shouldn’t feel awkward about it – I drew it, after all – but there’s always a little bit of ‘omgidrewcockeveryonewillsaystuff’. I’ve never done anything so graphic – but I think that’s because I largely work with actor’s likenesses and these faces are simply characters so there isn’t that weird breach of privacy.
Its magnificent! Sandor’s musculature (oh that cock!), the way he’s punching the mattress, the heat of their eyes, the unashamed explicitness, just makes me giddy.
